Too funny

I'm working on your big turning TWO post but I had to share this one early:

Overheard from you and Dad playing dolls:

"No Asher it's Han Solo not Han So Slow"

"Han So Slow.  Han So Slow"

Eleven days!

In 11 days, this tiny baby is turning TWO.  I'm getting emotional about it.

Genius baby

You draw ALOT these days and you have moved on from scribbling to circling.  Everything is a circle.  One day last week, I asked you to draw me a face expecting something not a face. BUT then as you were drawing you would say eyes and then draw eyes (this one has 4 eyes - creative license) then say ears (this one only got one) and then mouth and drew a smiley mouth then you blew my mind and said hat and drew a hat.

This one was a few days later after some practice and as insane as this sounds you said eyes and drew one and then Aria glasses and then drew glasses!  I swear!  Look, they are there.  Then, you said hair and actually drew individual circle hair!!!

See, you believe me now.  Genius baby.

Playing catch up

Last weekend, we went to the Kohl's museum and I took TONS of pictures...on the phone that I can not find at the moment.  So, for now here are two.  You loved the car ramp and the music section.  I was surprised at first that you didn't want to partake in the water section, but then I touched the water and it was FREEZING and understood.  At one point, this little girl was following you around and after saying Hi (with some prompting) you were like "Umm...ok little girl move along..." and she was all like "But your face is so gorgeous I must follow it around".  Or at least that's how it went down in my mind anyway.

Then the next day, it was insanely nice out for December so we all went to Zoolights at the Lincoln Park Zoo.  We were joined by Aunt Colleen and Uncle Jake and had tons of fun.  It was less crowded than I expected for such a nice night.

On Saturday, we used one of our Museum of Science and Industry free passes that we got from school.  While it was fun to do as a family and there were like 3 sections of the museum that you guys really liked (the farm, the kid's area, and DNA section -the chicks were in there), most of it was just too advanced for you guys.  Dad and I talked about how if we had paid the 66 dollars for our family of 4 to go, we would have been really mad because you guys just didn't REALLY love it that much.  But alas, we did have fun.

This is just random mist coming from the ceiling in the technology section

If you stand still, the butterflies stop on your hands.
The chick area was one of my favorite parts because those little chicks really held your attention.  Plus, there was this weird moment where you guys put your fingers to the glass and then out of nowhere all the chicks came towards your fingers.  There was food all over the cage so it wasn't like they thought you were going to feed them, so I don't know what that was all about, but it was cool.

Said "weird"moment

You actually squealed in delight when you saw this beauty

Aria has to sit on everything these days and you got plopped on there too

 The kid's area:

You are attempting to put the ball in the tube so it is suctioned up and sent across the room . But the section part was hard for almost two year hands.
