Phone pictures

This is from last week when Aria was getting her hearing test.  You ran up and down this corridor for 25 minutes STRAIGHT- zero breaks.

Catch Up

Even though it's 1:30 in the morning and I'll admit I'm a little tired (your sister is sick and we're waiting for the drugs to kick in to get her temperature down), there is so much to catch up on that I'm kind of at a loss on where to start.  So here is my completely random catch up update:

You do this weird thing where you purposely put all your fingers in your mouth to make yourself choke.  You find this HIGHlarious.  Heard from the other room, it's terrifying for me and Dad so based on our terrified faces you do it ALL the time now.  It's not cool.

You get SO excited to pick up Aria from school and SO sad when we drop her off.  It is just the cutest thing ever.  When we pick her up, you make this really high squealed ARIA when you see her and it is honestly beyond adorable.

You gallop everywhere and climb on everything and are just always moving.  And if you are up you are into something.  Not probably. Definitely

You have been sick for the past few days and requesting tons of hugs.  Every night you will cry and then I will go and lay with you and you will take my hand and put it on my belly and say "Hug" and then fall back asleep.  Come on.  It just doesn't get much cuter than that.

I made a deal with Dad that I wouldn't cut your hair till you turn two and it's starting to get crazy so when you see the pictures you now know what's up.

You talk like you're like two and a half.  It's crazy the things you say.  You routinely say two-three word sentences now.  Some times you say things and I'm like "Did you really just say that?"

Over the last few days, you have been really good about reading longer books.  You LOVE books so it's nice to start reading books that have more than one word on each page.

The potty.  It's funny because you continue to tell us whenever you pee or poo - sometimes confusing the two.  But I mean it's awesome that you are even telling us anything and that you when I ask you where you should pee and poo, you without hesitation say "the potty".  You will sit on it for a few minutes and little dude you aren't even two yet so all this is awesome - zero complaints.  I'm so excited about the idea of you both not in diapers - that is going to be a frickin amazing.

Your obsession with Brutus continues as you get older.   Thankfully you are getting gentler and Brutus at this point just has given up and let's you pet and poke him.  You are relentless and just follow him around all the time so you just wore him down.

Now cuteness:

You look SO big to me here

Right after nap. Telling me this awesome story of farm animals and the sounds they make. Such a great story I hear it many many times a day. Look at that gorgeous face. (Taken with Instagram)
You are absolutely edible in each of these pictures.  Those cheeks!!!!
